The last thing you want from a family game is a mod that is literally called the “Extreme Violence Mod”.
Electronic Arts’ popular life-simulation franchise, The Sims, is known for two things: family-centric gameplay and a detailed build-and-buy mode. This is how you get the two biggest categories of Sims gamers: builders and people who actually play the life simulation part of the game.
That said, both groups share constructive in-game interests that either focus on building houses or creating families.
So where does the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod fit in?
What is The Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod?
The Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod is one of the most popular mods in the game. But to say it’s different from the rest of the Sims 4 mods is an understatement. The life simulation game usually has healthier mods in the spotlight.
Aside from the UI upgrade that is the MC Command Center mod, another typical Sims 4 fan favorite is KawaiiStacie. Slice of life mod, which adds the sixteen Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality types to the game, along with more daily interactions like giving your Sims a face mask.
In the furthest corner of the ring? Extreme violence mod from Sacrificial, Wicked Whims and Basemental Drugs. The first mod allows your Sims to kill each other in increasingly creative ways.
Whether you like pretend cartel guns or create your own private remake of The Texas Chainsaw MassacreThe Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod lets you kill as you please.
There’s even a feature in this mod that lets you use toddlers to kill adult sims. Nuts, I know, but undeniably fun for a lot of players. Add to that the drugs of the Basemental Drugs mod and the unscrupulous fornication that the Wicked Whims mod supports and you have a truly private game.
These three mods are practically the unholy trifecta of Sims YouTuber hell.
“If I kill people, I can’t be restricted in my clothes,” Jesse McNamara, better known online as plumbellatells her audience as she prepares to send a Sims version of herself to murder the rest of the world’s Sims.
Although the mod is absolutely not safe for work, videos of YouTubers playing their copies of the game with this mod are still racking up thousands of views. There’s definitely an appeal, especially since the mod’s creator, Ahmed Qoqas, made bank creating violence-themed mods while maintaining the Extreme Violence mod.
Although there is still a long way to go in the study of psychology on why we seem to enjoy violence, few can deny the appeal of being able to do what would normally be illegal or taboo in an environment. safe and controlled.
After all, even if you ask a toddler to kill his parents, no one will really be hurt or traumatized. It’s a bit like The purge but without the aftermath of guilt.
But the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod isn’t all about murderous toddlers and digital weapons. Get a little creative and you’ll find you can recreate iconic movie death and fight scenes in this game.
Here are some of the most depraved things you can try in-game with the Extreme Violence mod.
The Many Horrors You Can Commit With The Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod
It’s her, officer. He is the future criminal. Louise Leigh is guilty, among other things, of having participated in the Black Widow Challengetrapping Nancy Landgraab in a basement until she starves to death, and having a name that comes close to violating intellectual property laws.
My darling Louise is a distinguished debutante during the day as she is currently in a Regency period style Legacy Challenge. But sending Louise to dream balls in castles was starting to get boring. No amount of Wicked Whims modification was going to turn this into a spicier Sims version of Bridgerton.
It was time to step up a gear with the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod.
When you go to the Sacrificial website, you will find a page dedicated to the Extreme Violence mod feature list. While it’s clearly not obvious from this article that I have brain cells, I could definitely feel my last spark to life with every feature the website listed.
Take a Sim Hostage
Become the millionaire you’ve always dreamed of being with the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod! Completely off the rails sacrificial violence mod allows your sim of choice to hold other lesser sims hostage.
Forget the “motherlode” or “rosebud” cheats. The real path to getting rich in The Sims 4 is to install this mod and enjoy its hostage interaction.
The first thing on the agenda of a Legacy challenge is to build a family fortune. This means that my founding sim, Louise Leigh, had to do a literal murder. What better way to do that than to infiltrate the Goth family, assassinate Mortimer, and take Cassandra Goth hostage. I’m not going to lie, it was slightly thrilling to see Alexander Goth freaking out while his sister cried her head out.
The Goth family heir started paying Louise more money than a stripper at a bachelor party. After that, we used MC Command Center to force him to marry Louise, making him the new hostage.
Create a murder party
It couldn’t end there. The next thing to try on The Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod was Sacrificiel’s promised murder fest.
Have you ever tried to modify a Sims 4 game so that a group of female sims in Victorian ballgowns stab other ballgoers to death? I have it and I don’t recommend it. The amount of cuts and all that happened to my poor integrated graphics was too much for the game to bear. It crashed and forced me to re-download the 40 gigabytes of the game.
Yet memories of a ballroom filled with blood will forever warm my cold, dead heart.
Go Full Goth
Speaking of hearts, did I mention you can rip someone’s heart out with the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod?
I first sent Louise to kill random joggers who were wearing modern clothing in my not so historically accurate game. But as she lay there, snuggled up next to her utterly terrified husband, Alexander Goth, I knew what I had to do. Threat of force and retaliation aside, this man had promised to love Louise Leigh with all his heart at the altar, in front of the cruel deity Sims (me) no less.
It was time for him to keep his promise.
I left Alexandre and Louise to court one last time before their big farewell. Entering the “Deadly Interactions” menu, I saw Louise take one last nostalgic look at the man she terrorized for most of her life.
Then I forced Louise to rip out her heart.
Now in possession of a Goth heart, Louise had no choice but to bring the theme full circle. We built a basement under the living room of the gothic house and placed Alexander’s heart on a table, surrounded by flowers and candles.
I gave Louise the paranoid trait in Create-A-Sim and let her walk in circles on the floor under which her husband’s heart beat constantly, knocking on the door of his guilty conscience.
It was too much for Louise.
Even a sim as evil as she couldn’t take that much. Although I created her to be the bane of all of Simsdom, she remained as much of a sim as the rest and the years she spent with Alexander Goth made her sweet.
Louise was upset. She had been in the goth house for days, still filthy from not washing the blood from the heartbreaking interaction she had with Alexander. As she sat there eating her macaroni and cheese, I realized I had to set her free.
Using the same Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod that took her to the pinnacle of luxury, I ordered Louise Leigh to kill herself.
The widowed sim washed her bowl and walked into her bedroom, the one she shared with Alexander, and stabbed herself with a knife. Once she passed, I placed her heart under the floor, forever resting with her beloved.
Leaving their house, I had only one thought: it was time to create a new family to go through hell using the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod.
