The Sims 4 is set to host an in-game music festival, titled “Sims Sessions”, featuring performances in the fictional language Simlish, EA announcement Thursday.
Headlining the festival is two-time Grammy-nominated pop star Bebe Rexha, who will perform her single “Sabotage” in The Sims’ native language, while Glass Animals lead singer Dave Bayley and the singer-songwriter Joy Oladokun will open the show with performances in English. .
“I’ve always been a fan of the way The Sims allows players to express their creativity with others in-game,” Bebe Rexha said in a declaration. “The Sims Sessions will be a fun experience for fans around the world to enjoy music and hang out with friends in a way that never The Sims can offer. In addition to watching musical performances, players will be able to maneuver around the festival space, manage their own craft sale tables, purchase artist-themed merchandise, and sleep (or “Woohoo”) in one of the festival tents. Meanwhile, Rexha will also be teaming up with popular musical personalities from TikTok for a #SimlishSessions virtual karaoke challenge, in which users can share side-by-side duets with the artist showcasing their own version of The Sims’ rendition. of “Sabotage”.
