The Sims 4 Vampires Deserve The Sims 2 Spooky Moods

The sims 4 vampire are pretty cool, and the chance to become a prowling bloodsucker in EA game of life is just one of many occult simulation options available to players alongside aliens, ghosts, mermaids and new sims 4 werewolves, to name a few. However, fans say they’re missing one of the funniest custom tweaks offered to The Sims 2 vampires – custom moods.

In Sims 2, characters who become vampires get unique vampire-specific moods that really help bring out their dramatic and spooky characters. There are wonderfully toothy smiles, dramatic shock poses, and the kind of iconic “attacking vampire” stance you might expect from classic horror movies. It all helps to add a bit more flavor to the feeling of becoming a vampire.

The players on the The Sims Reddit take the opportunity of the Halloween weekend to recall some of their favorite things about past beings of the night. “When I was younger I thought they were so scary, but I loved vampires so I was constantly scared,” one user said. Others agree, with one commenting that in The Sims 2 “vampires always looked so scary that I never went downtown.”

While some fans are quick to point out that the range of Occult Sim options now available in The Sims 4 is excellent, others say the lack of varied emotions displayed by characters in the latest game is rather off-putting. “I like [The Sims] 4 and spend a lot of time on it,” said one, “but the smile makes everyone feel like they’re taking a happy pill. Several users recommend a “no-smile” mod, saying the constant smile is also too much for them.

I hope we get to see a new spin on emotions with The Sims 5: Project Rene – as a project developed in collaboration with the community of the series, there will be hope that these desires can be interpreted by the developers in unique and interesting ways that will give our next generation of Sims whole new ways to s ‘Express.
