The Sims 4 is having a free weekend to celebrate the series’ 22nd anniversary

Everyone’s favorite in-ground pool murder simulator, The Sims, turns 22 today. To celebrate, EA is giving away the latest entry in the series, 2014’s The Sims 4, a free weekend and 88% off on Steam.

The base game was released many Sims lifetimes ago and has received an assortment of full-size DLCs and smaller content packs over time, none of which are unfortunately included in the free weekend. . EA has been generous enough to offer 30-50% discounts on most of the 51 discrete DLCs, leaving the total cost for a whole bargain basement $538.50.
