The Sims 4: how to grow a toddler?

Welcome to our “The Sims 4: How to Grow a Toddler” guide. Knowing how to grow a toddler while playing The Sims 4 is important because you don’t want them to be small forever! The Sims 4 toddlers are the perfect mix of baby and kid, with their own unique set of requirements to meet and give Sim parents a little trouble. If you can manage their expectations effectively, you’ll have a healthy, happy child as you grow as a toddler in The Sims 4.

Bake a cake with one of your adult sims, then click on it to choose it. “Ask {toddler name} to blow out the candles,” then select the option to add candles. You’ll then see a pop-up notifying you that the toddler has grown and reminding you of all the reward traits you’ve earned by successfully raising them.

Aim to help your child with 5 distinct life skills: Thinking, Communication, Movement, Potty and Imagination. Potty is clear, but the other four are skills for the future stage of life, which is the child. For example, a toddler with high mental abilities will be a better child. The best way to develop these skills is to spend lots of time with your toddler. Toys for them, books for you, and a house full of toys.

Potty has three skill stages, and Communication, Thought, Imagination, and Thinking have five. When you become a child, you will get the happy toddler reward attribute if all toddler traits are level 3. This helps Sims learn new abilities quickly, which is useful for any future projects. When the Sim transforms into a child, the Best Toddler Reward Trait will help them learn new abilities faster than the Happy Toddler Reward Trait.
