A new version of The Sims 4 adds a spooky “occult mall” to the Maxis classic game of lifeallowing witches and wizards from across the Glimmerbrook universe to shop until they stumble across an elegant Harry Potter-style store.
Need a new look in time for Halloween? Look no further than Sims YouTuber TownieSimsBuilds, who’ve added a spooky new mall to Glimmerbrook, the mystical kingdom available to those who own The Sims 4: Magic Kingdom bundle.
After demolishing the once-bustling tavern, Townie completely replaced it with a chic-looking Gothic building, characterized by pointed roofs topped with spiers, blood-red brickwork, and circular stained-glass windows.
The first floor of the spooky shopper’s paradise features a stylish (ha ha) boo-tique that’s perfect for all your occult attire needs, plus a Knockturn Alley-inspired black magic shop that would make even Voldemort jealous. There’s a bookstore jam-packed with non-aggressive tomes and crystal broomsticks, and a small lounge area so you can enjoy a witch’s brew or a butterbeer from the cafe on the second floor.
Speaking of the second floor, there is more than just a restaurant. Just above the spooky dark magic empire is a beautiful pastel colored light magic shop. This includes “good dolls” that calm your sim down in a crisis, as well as a huge range of different spiritual artifacts. A potions store (no potions included, just cauldrons) and a psychic store complete the upper floor, the latter being Townie’s favorite.
