Sims 4 Murder Mod: What It Does and How to Get It

The Extreme Violence mod adds a host of new NPC actions to The Sims 4, allowing characters to commit heinous acts against each other in unique ways.

“Extreme Violence”, commonly known as “Murder Mod”, is a fan-made mod for The Sims 4 which changes the game’s tame “Teen” ESRB rating to “M” or worse, depending on user preference. Created by a community user named “SACRIFICIAL”, the Murder Mod adds a variety of violent new features to the The Sims 4 world, including bare-handed heart removal, backstabbing, headbutting, and even the supernatural act of launching a helicopter at a crowd of NPCs in The Sims 4. Needless to say, the Murder Mod is not recommended for people who are faint of heart or sensitive to controversial content such as child abuse and other heinous activities involving bloody and brutal mutilation.

To use the Murder Mod in The Sims 4, players will first need to download the file from the modder’s original website. Fans can find the right page by searching “extreme violence mod sims 4” on Google’s search engine and selecting “Sacrificialmods.com”. To be on the safe side, players are advised to acquire the Murder Mod only through SACRIFICIAL’s website and not from other third-party sites, as there may be potential malware in the downloadable files.

After opening Sacrificialmods, select the “Downloads” tab at the top of the screen. Scroll down until the Extreme Violence mod appears. Click on the mod icon to start downloading the required files. While the fansite has been used by many in the sims community that likes modified and deviant content, it is recommended that people concerned about the risk of computer viruses analyze the files before extracting them into their system.

Once Extreme Violence has finished downloading, prepare the file when opening the documents folder in “This PC”. Players should then go to “Electronic Arts” and choose the “The Sims 4” folder. Inside, select “Mods”. If this folder does not exist, right-click on the screen to add a new “Mods” folder for The Sims 4. Similarly, create another new folder in Mods and name it “Murder Mod” or “Extreme Violence”. Finally, extract the downloaded file to the newly created folder.

Launch the game and check if the mod is working properly. Those who discover mods in The Sims 4 need to choose Options from the main menu and confirm that both settings are enabled:

  • Script mods allowed
  • Enable custom content and mods

With this setting in place, start a game and click on any interactive character and select the “Extreme Violence” option to display a list of new actions the NPC can perform.
