How to enable and use CAS Full Edit mode in The Sims 4 on computer

  1. Enable cheat mode – Bring up the game dialog by pressing ctrl + shift + c. Type true cheat test in the box, then press Enter on your keyboard.
  2. Enable full edit mode – In the same dialog box, type cas.fulleditmode.
  3. Select a Sim to edit – Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and click on the SIM card you want to modify. Choose the option edit in CAS.

Can you use CAS Full Edit cheat on console?

The answer is yes, CAS Full Edit also works on the Xbox and PlayStation versions of The Sims 4. It’s a bit more complicated to use since you’re using a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse.

It works exactly the same way, but the inputs are slightly different. On console, you will need to press both shoulder buttons and both triggers to bring up the dialog. It’s LB, LT, RB and RT on Xbox, and L1, L2, R1 and R1 on PlayStation.

Once you have activated cheat mode and In CAS Full Edit mode, you will need to select a Sim to edit. Instead of moving and clicking, you have to hold down two controller buttons. On PlayStation it’s circle + X, and on Xbox it’s B + A.
